Future Leaders Award

The Future Leaders Award program, funded by the Indiana Education Savings Authority (IESA), has been a tremendous success since its inception in 2002. This year, the award amount has increased from $750 per winning student, to $1,000 per winning student. Additionally, each school where the winning student attends also receives a $250 award to be used to foster its own leadership program.

If you or one of your teachers knows a deserving student, please take a moment to let us know about him or her by nominating the student online at www.collegechoiceplan.com/leader. If you have any questions about the program please contact Susan Loftus at 317-232-5259 or sloftus@tos.in.gov.  Thank you and we look forward to seeing you and your school's Future Leader soon!

LEADERS REFLECT

LEADERS REFLECT is an online learning community for principals about leadership from the National Association of Elementary School Principals. What are the qualities that make you an outstanding leader?  When was the last time you took a moment to think deeply about your own practice?  Who do you connect with for support and advice?  Now NAESP has a forum for you! LEADERS REFLECT is funded with a Ventures in Leadership Grant by the Wallace-Reader's Digest Funds. Together we are developing an online learning community to explore the new NAESP standards for what principals should know and be able to do.
