Bishop Noll Institute is a Catholic, college preparatory school serving students in grades 7-12.  The school currently seeks to fill several teaching positions including math, Spanish, music, and science.  

We are seeking science teachers with licensure in grades 7-12.  There are 2 positions open.  State certification or evidence of progress toward certification is acceptable.

The music position is for instruction in choir, band, and music appreciation.

The math position is for Algebra I and Algebra II instruction.

I. EDUCATION: Indiana Administrative Certification for Elementary/All Schools License Administration and Supervision

II. WORK SCHEDULE: 260 Days PROJECTED SALARY RANGE: $97,861 - $107,861

III. APPOINTMENT: August 4, 2008 START DATE: August 5, 2008

IV. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervision and appraisal of Director of Special Education
  • Supervision and appraisal of Elementary (PK-4) Principals
  • Communication and collaboration with community pre-school programs
  • Supervision and evaluation of the Bi-Lingual Programs: ESL, ELL
  • Communication and collaboration with the non-public community schools
  • Supervision and program development of all High Ability (PK-12): Identification, Merit, Middle School, High School AP
  • Coordinating with (PK-4) Principals: School Improvement Plan, Curriculum Development, Instructional Best Practices, Assessment Data, ISTEP+, Textbook Adoption, Enrollment Projections, Professional Development of Certified Teachers, Field Trips, AYP, Student/Parent Issues, Summer School, Academic Competitions
  • Administration of Grants: Title I, Title II, Reading Recovery, Prime Time, Title III, Remediation Grant Development (PK-4)
  • Development of School/Community Relations
  • Completion of IDOE State Reports (PK-4)
  • Instructional Assistant (PK-4) Professional Development
  • Participate in Corporation Strategic Planning
  • Participate at all Cabinet Level Meetings
  • Participate in Budget Development (PK-4)
  • Development of (PK-4) Student and Staff Incentive Programs
  • Desegregate and communicate for understanding and instructional improvement, test scores from ISTEP+/AYP/PL221 to staff and community
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent
  • Facilitate Early 5’s
